Even after close to a decade of picking up the pen professionally, I vividly remember the exact moment I wrote my first article for a publishing company. I was a young college student, armed with a ball point, a well-worn notebook, and a head buzzing with ideas. It wasn’t a grand beginning; my first task was simple — writing copy for an advertising campaign. The pay? Modest. But that didn’t matter. What mattered was that it was the start of something. It was the beginning of my journey in writing, in giving form to thoughts, in finding my voice.
Hailing from Southern India with Anglo-Indian roots, I’ve always felt a strong inclination towards the written word, and the connections they are able to forge. There’s something heartfelt and personal about colloquial expression, and that’s what I bring to my work — a desire to speak to people, not at them. It’s never just about the technicalities of writing for me; it’s about making those words mean something, making them resonate.
My path has led me through many industries — Trade Finance, Banking, Insurance, Education, Blockchain, E-commerce — and in each of these, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with brilliant minds across departments, from marketing and pre-sales to product engineering and R&D.
Every industry has taught me something new, every collaboration has added another layer to my understanding of how to communicate ideas, solve problems, and bring clarity to complexity.
What sets me apart, I believe, is the combination of empathy and curiosity. It’s the ability to look at a piece of noisy, uncertain, and complex data — what we call “NUTs” — and find structure within it.
